  This is the first of three small oil paintings I did for a client.  She asked for Florida marsh landscapes.  I painted with both brush and palette knife.

I am trying to capture that moment when the whole world has a golden glow.  My image showed a live oak, draped in spanish moss with the sun setting in the background.

This is a subject that I intend to revisit.  I have just returned from a Elio Comacho workshop and will try to apply some of his techniques to this landscape.
