Textured Seascape, Coastal Decor, Daily Painting, Small Oil Painting, Palette Knife Painting, 9x12" Oil

This painting is the direct result of many, many, walks on the beach, last winter.

Purchase here

A possible framing choice.

How to capture the excitement of a breaking wave?    I painted with a palette knife and could not capture the actual colors, but I think I came very close.

Abstract Textured Seascape, Stormy Beach Day, Original Palette Knife Oil Painting

A new little seascape.

It's been quite some time since I dug out my palette knives.  I forgot how much fun it is.

Planning to do it again.............soon!

Tropical Fish Painting, Palette Knife Painting, Daily Painting, Small Oil Painting, 12x12x1.5"

This is a painting inspired by a trip to Key Largo, where we viewed the incredible coral reefs of the area.

Purchase here
The waters were teeming with fish of every color and shape.  Some were very curious and a few were right out scary!

detail

We viewed them from a glass bottom boat, although I have to admit, I envied those brave souls who were in the water with them.

Thank you for viewing my blog today.
